COVID-19 is having a huge impact on the lives of all US citizens and our world.

This post is to keep you updated on what Statesville Analytical is doing to keep our clients, and our staff safe while maintaining service to our clients’ analytical needs.

Now more than ever it is important that Statesville Analytical continue to operate as normal.  Do to the nature of our business we must be able to provide our clients with data in a precise and timely manner to insure that water the being used in our healthcare facilities, homes, communities and industries meets all of the regulations as set forth in the Clean Water and EPA regulatory guidelines.  This also includes the water that is released daily into our streams, rivers, lakes and oceans as it is discharged from our nations waste treatment facilities.

Statesville Analytical is following the guidelines of global health experts at the World Health Organization (WHO) and US Centers for Disease Control (CDC) on preventing the spread of the COVID-19 virus. Employees have been updated on hand washing and the use of PPE. The enhanced PPE’s includes face masks, gloves, safety glasses and goggles and disposable lab coats.  All employees are observing the 6 foot social distancing from one another and the clientele. Sampling equipment and transport coolers as well as countertops are being disinfected periodically throughout the day.

For clients dropping off samples we are urging you to read all of the signs posted outside of our receiving area. At this time clients, operators and the general public will not be allowed at the inside sample drop off counter.  All samples must be passed through the reception window and will be received by a staff member that is wearing a mask and gloves.  We have placed sample forms and masks in the reception area and ask that you also maintain a 6 foot social distance at all times.

It is our firm belief that if we are adjust to these small inconveniences that we as a nation can slow down the spread of this deadly virus and keep our staff, you and your family safe and healthy.

Thank you for your understanding and for allowing Statesville Analytical to serve as your compliance laboratory.
